Agren Update: Part 3

Hey HLSS followers! CJ is watching me write this post and would really like me to say, “Eating donuts, YEAH BUDDY.” I guess there has never been a better way to start a Saturday blog post. 🙂 We started this morning by waking up way way to early (thank you internal alarm clocks) and went to get donuts. If you’re reading this after seeing my Instagram post, don’t worry! I only ate one and after this I am hoping to do a butt-kicking workout in just a minute. Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

We’ve been working extra hard the past month or so, but we have also been having such fun the past few weeks. We are so glad to always  have the opportunity to spend so much time together. A current favorite is cuddling up at night and watching Drop Dead Diva (if you’ve never seen it, queue up your Netflix now.) We laugh and cry over the dramatic and silly situations. It’s been fun to be able to hang out with CJ every night because he isn’t taking any summer classes, and therefore doesn’t have any homework or studying to do.

CJ was recently called to the activities committee at our church under the meanest boss ever (aka me). We will take any excuse to hang out with each other more. At this point in our marriage, I am shocked at how we don’t really have many disagreements and I am hoping that I have the wife title down cold. (Watch, I’m almost positive that we will have an argument over something stupid bc Murphy’s law, haha). Our marriage has really become a source of strength through the hard times that life always brings. He has been so good about working 40 hours per week and is learning a ton in his current position. If you want to say, “Hey!” and you currently attend BYU-Idaho, hit him up at the student health center. He is still the number one advocate of getting take out instead of making me cook. Honestly, for me it’s definitely 50/50. He is learning a lot and looks forward to taking the GMAT later this summer!

In that regard, things are changing quickly. I was recently driving to work and feeling sentimental over the good times we’ve had here in Rexburg. We grew together and have accomplished many of our goals. I am saddened to think that this place has finally felt like home. Rexburg farewell tour starts today for sure. Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

I have been CJ’s boss in our church calling for about a week now. I’m definitely drunk on the power. Haha, I’m totally kidding but we are have loved our one week of working side by side. I am still working as an SEO and social media specialist. My coworkers actually brighten my day and it’s very seldom that I’m irritated to be at work. That has been such a blessing in my life! Me at a earlier time definitely hated working. I’ve also been struggling with feeling anxious the past few months, but in the beginning of March we found the solution. That has also been a blessing. I feel that I was truly inspired to go to a good Dr. I am grateful as usual for God’s hand in my life. He has always helped me to get through everything. Anyway, I’m not really all about sharing personal problems, but this is just a surface level update!

Now the good stuff. We have been on some pretty fun trips, but I just want to share photos because too much talkie isn’t always that great! If you want a travel guide for Jackson, WY I would love to give one. There is literally some of the best food and best views in that place. It was so fun to get to spend some time with my sister there. We then went to Arizona the next week to visit my in-laws, CJ’s family. It was so relaxing to take a whole week to float around in the pool, eat way to much and do some serious damage shopping. (Ps.. I got these Jeffrey Campbell booties for $6 at Last Chance! If you live in AZ, or Chicago, please please go!!!!!!!!!)

Enjoy our picture diaries from both trips!

Hope you all are having an amazing weekend. What are your trip plans for summer? We would love to know and get more suggestions to fill our weekends.
